This happens before I even need to select "Which of these devices do you want to troubleshoot?" just the action of opening the troubleshooter seems to fix it. If I select Troubleshoot Sound Problems, the Vive Pro (NVIDIA High Definition Audio) device magically appears in the Sound window under the Playback tab. Vive Pro (NVIDIA High Definition Audio) will not appear in the Sound window under the Playback tab. When I open SteamVR, it tries to connect/plug-in the audio device "virtually" and select it as the Default Communications Device (not sure why, but more on that below). The Vive Pro (NVIDIA High Definition Audio) is never visible after a clean reboot.
